Dartmoor images

Here I have taken a variety of images from our trip to the moors. I have also taken some images into Photoshop and manipulated them.

The idea for this image is to help me with colour and landscapes of the moors. The colours are bright so this could be an introduction to the game making it feel happy.

This image was taken for the texture. In my game, I want to use rocks, stone bridges and standing stones.

I took this image of the waterfall because water will be relevant in my game as the player will need to cross bridges to get to the next level.

The colours in this image are dark, I can take these colours and use them for a moment in my game where the evil is approaching.

In my game, I want to use the history of the moors by using standing stones. This image gives me an ideas for  what it could look like.

This image was taken because I wanted to get darker colours of the moors and the shadows of the trees.

I took this image because its colours are dark and the textures on the building.

In my game I will use rivers at the end of each level and the player will have to cross them to get to the next level. This helps me with the vanishing point of rivers and streams and also the colours.

The idea behind this photo was to help me develop a landscape for my game. The logs at the forefront of the image could be part of the game and what the character jumps on to get further in the game. The landscape is misty and could be where the hell hounds come from.

These image was taken to focus on the landscape, the rocks, the colours of the landscape, rocks and the sky.

These two images are to help give me an understanding for the rocks in the moors. This image looks a bit empty and could be the setting for the final battle.

This image was taken for the lighting of the area. The colours of the rocks and the textures are also helpful for my game.

I took this image because I wanted to get the colours from this image. This image could be in my game where the character runs along the fence.

This photo is to focus on the colours in the centre of the image and the lighting at the back of the image.

These images show the landscape of the moors. The rocks in the foreground of the images are to help me with my game as I will be using rocks and stones for the character to jump on.

I took a few images into Photoshop and did some photo manipulation.

With this lake photo, I adjusted the vibrance and the saturation. I also adjusted the curves of light.

With this rock image I adjusted the vibrance and saturation. I then messed around with the curves and got this scary image of the landscape.

With this image of the stream, I simply added a cut-out filter and adjusted the brightness.

With this image I adjusted the vibrance and saturation. I then adjusted the curves to make it darker.
